Membership Classifications

Professional Member
A person who, at time of admission, is employed as an office professional, secretary, a teacher who is employed in the teaching of business education, or someone who has attained the Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) rating.

Professional-Merited Member
A member who has been a professional member of five years at the time of retirement and has either attained the age of 55 years or received forced work retirement because of physical disability.

Student Member
At time of admission, enrolled as a student of business education.

Associate Member
An individual, firm or educational institution which sustains the objective of IAAP.
